Boosting tourism and healthcare access
Ziro, known for its picturesque landscapes, has become a popular MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism destination. The new direct flights are expected to significantly boost tourism in the region, making it easier for both business and leisure travelers to visit.
In addition to enhancing tourism, the flights will provide quicker access to specialised medical care for residents of Ziro, allowing them to reach larger cities in a shorter time for treatment, the deputy commissioner added.
