Air India has recently elevated its service on the Delhi-London route by introducing the cutting-edge Airbus A350, with plans to expand this offering to the US and other international destinations. This move is part of the airline’s ongoing transformation under the Vihaan.Ai initiative, which aims to enhance the passenger experience on long-haul flights.

The Airbus A350 features a modern three-class configuration, offering:

  • Business Class: 28 private suites with full-flat beds.
  • Premium Economy: 24 seats with extra legroom and added enhancements.
  • Economy Class: 264 seats, all equipped with the latest generation of comfort.

Each seat on the A350 is outfitted with the Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment system and HD screens. Passengers can enjoy over 3,000 hours of entertainment in 13 international and 8 Indian regional languages, including a dedicated section with more than 100 hours of content for children. Onboard Wi-Fi will also be available soon.

Guests in Business and Premium Economy will receive luxury amenity kits designed by Ferragamo and TUMI, along with Air India’s new soft product line – Vista Verve – featuring upgraded chinaware, tableware, glassware, and bedding. The dining experience will include a menu that caters to both Indian and international tastes, served in premium India-inspired chinaware for a touch of cultural elegance.

As part of its fleet upgrade, Air India has also begun a refit program for its A320neo aircraft, transforming them into a sleek three-class configuration. The A320neo will feature:
