Following a huge demand for protein-based life saving drugs, Zenotech Lab is setting up a Rs 100 crore plasma fractionation facility in Hyderabad. The construction for this facility is expected to commence during this year. Speaking to FE, Jayaram Chigurupati, managing director, said that the financial closure for this new project is already completed. It is a 49:51 partnership project with debt and equity along with European partners. ?Currently, we are working on the R&D aspect in the facility. We proposed to develop some core proteins targeted for immunological disorders, haemophilia, albumin or skin disorders and few other diseases,? he said.
