US-based Winshuttle, a provider of user-enabled data management applications for use with SAP, has firmed up plans to invest close to $1 million this year in strengthening its R&D base in Chandigarh.
The company, which has its R&D centre at Rajiv Gandhi Chandigarh Technology Park, will be doubling its headcount of 30 and making investment in upgrading the infrastructure and conducting research on new products. Winshuttle?s R&D centre, at the IT park Chandigarh, develops software products to enable large companies using SAP, to transfer data back and forth from normal Windows based applications like excel and access.
In an interaction with FE, Vikram Chalana, CEO and co-founder of Winshuttle said, ?We are targeting large companies who have potential for using SAP worldwide. We are exploring new markets, and within the next year we?ll open our sales and support office in Germany besides our existing offices in Seattle, London, Paris and Chandigarh.?
