The job: Given our leadership position in the industry, the onus is on us to continue to evolve and I feel privileged to be part of this journey. I find my job energizes me, given the possibilities we have to create rewarding experiences for our customers. The great thing about this job is the range of challenges we face given that we deal with clients from a variety of industries. Perhaps my peeve would be that there is so much that we can do and not enough time to do it all!
The weekdays: My day at work starts at 9.00am and stretches to 12 hours or more. Saturday mornings are sacrosanct. I?ve also learnt that scheduling time in the mornings always works better as there is less competition for time later
in the day.
The weekend: When not at work I enjoy spending time with my six-year-old twins. They are at a fascinating age and I spend a lot of time with them, whether it?s going cycling, swimming or a pillow fight. I also enjoy watching plays and try my best to catch one wherever I may be. I am very interested in history and different cultures and our scriptures are a big part of them. Right now, I am reading the Quran verse by verse and I am mesmerized, to say the least. I am also a fan of Ayn Rand?s Atlas Shrugged. ?It is possibly the most inspiring book I?ve read in my life and I would recommend it to anyone. I have hardly missed an issue of The Economist.
The toys: I am not a technology aficionado, but I still love my BlackBerry and choose to use it over any other latest phone.
The logos: I like to shop from Zara and Boss but Nike is the go-to brand when it comes to sportswear, especially when I play tennis or hit the gym over the weekend.
