What does success mean to you?
I have always believed that success alone is not the key to happiness. Conversly, I know for a fact that happiness is the most certain key to success. If you love what you are doing, you are bound to be successful. Every happy client that walks out of the VLCC Center is a sign of success for me. As are the smiles of my employees. These things give me maximum happiness. When I started VLCC it was with a vision to make health and wellness accessible to all sections of the society. Right now every success that I achieve is just a milestone in my journey towards that goal.
What is your biggest strength?
VLCC today is a super brand and this has been possible because of my strong and dedicated VLCC family. They remain my biggest strength; the iconic status that we have acquired in the last 20 years would not have been possible without their dedication and hard work. And of course the love and support of my family who have stood by me. I truly feel what ever I am today is because of the love and affection of all the people around me.
What works as a stress buster for you?
I do often feel a lot of stress but I have several things that act as a stress buster for me. I work out daily and do a lot of yoga, specially meditation and suryanamaskar. I also love spending time with my grandson. I have been looking forward to be a grandmom for a very long time and when he came in our life it was like sunshine. The very thought of spending time with him acts as a stress buster for me. Also, spending time with my friends and going out with my colleagues and friends… getting pampered at VLCC Day spa too helps.
God to you is….?
My father was an Arya Samaji. So, we did not have idols at home. I was brought up to believe in the Supreme Power. I am not overtly religious but I definitely surrender to the Supreme Power and I strongly believe that all of us exist in this world for a reason. I always believe that I am the special child of god and whatever I am today is his blessing.
