In terms of box office collections, the opening response to ‘Ragini MMS 2’ confirmed this fact as the morning shows – at multiplexes and single screens – opened to a heartening response with Rs 8.43 crore as box office collections.

Ragini MMS-2 has achieved what most Hindi films don’t – serpentine queues at cineplexes, House Full boards outside theatres and a solid weekend total. And this happened despite ICC World twenty20 cricket matches making a dent in its business over the weekend.
According to Taran Adarsh, Ragini MMS 2’s box office collections was Rs 24.5 crore in opening weekend, including Rs 7.29 crore and 8.78 crore on Saturday and Saturday respectively.
