Starting the Dharavi redevelopment plan anew, Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA), a government of Maharashtra undertaking, has floated a tender inviting consultants to assist it in bid process management for selection of real estate developers for Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRP), in Mumbai.

In a recent tender notice, SRA has invited consultancy firms with international experience and competence to update the techno-economic feasibility carried out earlier and assist DRP or SRA in bid process management services. The scope of the services include review of existing data, reports, earlier bid documents for Sector 1 to 4 available with DRP.

DRP is also asking the consultant to review, study and make suggestions for alternative options for Sector 1 to 4 with or without phases. It also requires the consultants to prepare fresh bid documents for Sector -1 to 4 or 13 phases within Sector-1 to 4 or as many phases as decided by chief executive officer and officer on special duty, Dharavi Redevelopment Project.The consultant will also be required to assist the authority to prepare the bid documents for appointing management consultants for implementation of the agreement with the selected developers and DRP.
