As the patch-up effort made by the SBI management failed on Thursday, the forthcoming two-day nationwide strike of the bank employees of the state-run banks is all for sure. The leaders of SBI Staff Association and SBI Officers? Federation met the senior HR officials of the SBI in Mumbai
on Thursday. The SBI management urged both the unions to withdraw or defer the call for two-day strike as given by them. But both unions have turned down the demand of the SBI management and they maintained that the strike would be held as per schedule.
