A Riyadh-bound Saudi Arabian Airlines cargo flight from Chennai today made an emergency landing at the Mumbai airport after the aircraft developed a technical snag.
The cargo flight was diverted to Mumbai after one of the aircraft?s engines reported a technical snag, a Mumbai International Airport Limited spokesperson said here.
The aircraft with 10 crew on-board landed safely at 12.09 pm. ?It is still parked at the airport,? the spokesperson said.
This is the second incident in this month involving a Saudi Arabian Airlines aircraft.
On July 4, around 199 passengers on-board a Saudi Arabian Airline?s Mumbai-Jeddah flight had a miraculous escape after its tyre burst while landing at the Mumbai Airport.
