Big, organised retailers have left no stone unturned to cash on the run-up to the Holi festival when consumers go for impulsive buying. While some retail companies are offering IT and electronic gadgets in easy take away home instalments, others are attracting the consumers with free gifts with certain products.

RPG group?s Spencer Retail, which operates through various formats, is also offering special packages for the past two days across its various segment, including fast moving consumer goods, during the festival. According to Spencer Retail Ltd, vice-president (north) Statyaki Ghosh, a flocking crowd and a good response in the retail stores, specially in Uttar Pradesh where the company has come up with special package offers at its stores, is driving the sales by almost 20%.
