IT products company Ramco Systems has globally positioned itself as a business and technology solutions provider. The company is concentrating on emerging verticals such as logistics, property management, IT/ITeS and agri business in India, where the growth potential is the highest in the world.

Chetak Pathak, vice president, enterprise solutions, India, said, Ramco is strengthening its consultancy capabilities to improve its solutions offerings. The company offers most of its solutions through partners.

Ramco broke even for the first two quarters this fiscal and reaped profits in the third quarter.

Net profit stood at Rs 17.67 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, as against a net loss of Rs 12.11 crore for the corresponding period previous year. Total global revenue including that of subsidiaries stood at Rs 44.84 crore for the third quarter of 2007-08 compared to Rs 45.36 crore for the same period the previous fiscal.

Ramco is investing in building a new state-of-the-art facility over the next 18 to 24 months to keep pace with the company?s growth plans. The proceeds from the sale of the present building to the Ramco group will be used to part-fund the construction of the new facility.
