Admiral Nirmal Verma’s four-day visit to Indonesia is set to boost cooperation between the two countries on maritime security and intelligence sharing on anti-piracy operations. Verma left New Delhi on Monday and his visit comes just ahead of Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono?s upcoming visit to India as the chief guest for the Republic Day parade. Verma will visit facilities of the Indonesian Army, Navy and Air Force. He will also visit Bandung, Bali and Jakarta.
