After establishing its two business hotels in sector 43 of Chandigarh, KLG group is firming its plans to build eleven-storey five star hotel in the industrial area of the city. The group has already secured the land and will begin the construction shortly. The hotel will have all luxurious facilities including multi-cuisine restaurants, spa facility, convention hall, banquet halls and will boast of 70 rooms. This project is expected to see completion by 2010.

Apart from this construction of the group?s another ten storey four-star hotel coming up in the industrial area is in full swing. This hotel will have 65 rooms and will be thrown open in the year 2009. The USP of these two hotels will be its proximity to the Chandigarh airport and the railway station.

The group introduced Italian restaurant ?La Dolce Vita-Cucina Italiana? restaurant in its hotel Rio in Sector 43 on Tuesday. Speaking to FE, Atul Grover, managing director, hotel Rio said, ?This restaurant has been conceived while keeping in mind the ever growing demand of Italian food in India. Italian cuisine and delicacies have a cosmetic existence in Indian food scenario across the nation. We wish to cater to an increasing number of Indians exposed and aware of nuances of Italian flavours. ?La Dolce Vita-Cucina Italiana?, which means ?A sweet life- Italian Kitchen?, will combine the simplicity and harmony of idyllic Italian surroundings. To promote the concept we will also hold Italian food festival soon.? However, he refused to divulge the investment figures in each project.
