After being the first to officially state that Infosys will not poach Satyam employees and will not go after its clients either, Infosys co-chairman Nandan Nilekani on Thursday ruled out any possibility of the company?s top brass joining the crisis-ridden firm. ?There is a clear conflict of interest. We are responsible for Infosys, many of us are shareholders of Infosys,? he said.

It would not be fair on either of the companies, if anyone from Infosys joins the new Satyam team. Before the government announced the new Satyam board, the name of Narayan Murthy, chief mentor of Indian IT bellwether Infosys, was doing the rounds as a?potential member on the new Satyam board, he added.

Soon after Raju?s disclosure, Infosys had said it has asked its recruitment staff not to poach any Satyam employees.
