ICICI Securities on Tuesday announced the launch of the Active Trader Service (ATS) in Ludhiana. ATS is an offline-trading platform for active traders, providing specialised research and personalised service with the aid of the latest technology and infrastructure. ICICI Securities? Active Trader Service has seen healthy growth with its client base expanding 20% month-on-month and volumes increasing 50% month-on-month.
Speaking on the occasion, Vineet Arora, senior vice-president and head, product & distribution, ICICI Securities, said, ?After Delhi, Ludhiana is the second most important town for the equity business in north India and is among the top 15 cities across India on NSE turnover (Source: SEBI, 2008). We want to bring a range of trading strategies rivaling the best of institutional strategies to our customers.
