After roping in premium advertisers Vodafone, Reliance Industries and Future Group in their Club INX Platinum Members, Indrani Mukherjee-promoted INX Media has convinced the country?s biggest advertiser HUL to literally ?join the club?.

Each of the advertisers are believed to be paying Rs 35-40 crore for a three-year contract, sources within the channel said. To put things in perspective, the group has also worked out a club system to categorise advertisers, wherein the silver club members are contracted for one year, gold members are contracted for two, while platinum club members are advertisers who have signed on to advertise on one or more of INX Media?s channels for three consecutive years. ?The club idea protects our clients from rate increases over three years,? INX Group promoter and CEO Indrani Mukerjea said. ?The platinum advertisers will be 9X?s brand partners and along with ?protection? they also get committed number of secondages, privileged pricing, preferential scheduling, priority check-in, co-branded contests and a relationship manager dedicated to the account.?

Sources said that the company was in talks for an online partner, a major real estate player as platinum member and ICICI Bank. The channel is expected to announce its gold partners shortly. The company announced category-first advertising packages before launch, a move that seems to have attracted some of the biggest advertisers.
