HCL Technologies, India?s fifth largest software vendor ($1.8 billion company), with Germany based SAP has come up with solutions for the SMEs in the metal industry.
Under the solution, HCL will provide additional functionalities like Weigh Bridge Integration, production log sheets, extensive production planning features and 28 additional reports amongst others on the SAP?s latest version ECC 6.0.
These are the additional functionalities developed by HCL based on various industry inputs and prior experiences which are not available in standard SAP product.
All in One solutions from SAP for various industries are pre-configured building blocks with extensive documentation (built on ECC 6.0 provided by SAP) for SMB segment to expedite the implementation and reduce substantially the total cost of ownership. Murali Raghavan, senior VP & global head-SAP practice, HCL Technologies, says, ?The basic process like understanding the requirements of a company, documenting it and then using up SAP as required are already done and these have been developed considering 65 pre-considered scenarios.?
