The Karnataka government has offered land to Tata to set up its Nano Project. If Tata Motors decides to set up a plant in Dharwad, this would be a boon to all the engineers and technicians passing out of colleges and technical training institutes in North Karnataka. Logistically, Dharwad will become a good hub to dispatch vehicles and more so because of the Golden Quadrilateral passing through the town. Even exports will be helped by the fact that the Karwar and Mangalore ports are not too far away. Now the only question left is, will Deve Gowda decide to act as Karnataka?s Mamata?
