Shashi Ruia-controlled Essar Steel said that it has entered into an agreement with Shree Precoated Steels to acquire the latter’s assets and steel business for Rs 600 crore.
With this agreement, Essar Steel will become the country’s largest cold-rolled steel maker with an annual capacity of two million tonnes.
