The scanning through LG Smart Scan is done through the Laser Sensor and the Dacuda SLAM Scan Technology is the engine that does the job of scanning. Just press a button situated on the left side of the mouse, and scanning can be done.
The most advantageous features that we find with the SmartScan is the text recognition. It can also convert a text image into normal text.Also, the scanned content could be saved in various formats, including the most common ones like PNG, JPEG, BMP, PDF, DOC etc. The resolution of 1200 dpi for the scanning produces an excellent quality of data output.

One has to applaud the LG geeks for their efforts in bringing out this innovation, which we rate 10 out of 10 for standing out with the multi-purpose features. The baseline performance of the LG Smart Scan device gets a score of nine out of ten, and that is its less bulky nature.
Surprisingly, in spite of having an embedded scanner it is not bulky. It fits totally comfortably under your palm and the processing is affordable and ease of set up is also easy. One wouldn?t need anything else than plugging the USB to the computer, and the functioning starts. This is an intelligent mouse which scans images quickly and also shares it on the social networking sites.
The device?s pros are the scanning facility and a comfortable scrolling button to zoom in and out. It also has cons like a systematic manner of scanning required when large documents are scanned.
