On himself…
Definition is the survival kit of our ego, our individuality. It denies the contradictory and playful nature of our existence and therefore of our eternal selves. An addiction to linear time is the greatest imprisonment of our ego. For if there was no linear time difference between decision, action and result, how would the ego establish its identity and individuality? But if nothing ever began and nothing ever ends, there is no time definite reference except in perception. We are individuals and not, we exist and do not, all at the same points of ?no-time?, depending on how our imagination plays. Like a vast sea of imagination, we are the endless waves that appear and disappear imperceptibly. Shekhar Kapur is an illusion, a name to re-enforce a stagnant ego, a false identity, mock individuality.
Life as a journey…
A yearning to find the unity of all things is an adventure of self discovery, a journey of passions and love, and of deep hurt, of agony interspersed with fleeting moments of joy and of clarity. The universe is constantly at play with its own imagination. For the perception of the universe is nothing but only our imagination.
It?s a collective imagination of all beings including nature, human beings right down to the smallest imaginable particle. That is the nature of the universe, its duality, its contradiction. It exists and does not exist at the same time, and within its existence and non-existence, there is further contradiction. That is the duality of all existence and non-existence, for the play of imagination (which in Hinduism is called the Krishna Leela) is eternal. Our minds however need to define and confine, to measure and to fix points of reference to justify and assert our individual existences. Like navigators looking for distant stars to fix their positions on their journey. In fact the further you search the more infinite the contradictions and the imaginations get. The universe is so vast that in its play of potential possibilities and imagination that it can never cease to exist. For if the potential was not infinite, the universe would cease to exist, but the universe can cease to exist only if it existed.
On success…
Success is ghostly reflections of me through the prejudices of other?s insecurities enslaved by an egoistic desire to continue an addiction. But yes, it is also an ability to give to others. Success is not something you acquire. It is a gift that comes to you.
On busting stress
I love quiet conversations with birds, to teach others, to watch the day break and to stop trying to control things or being judgmental.
