Anantara Solutions wins cloud computing deal in US

Anantara Solutions, the pioneer of Second Generation Outsourcing (SGO), announced that it has won a Cloud Computing deal from Srini NewCo, a US-based start-up. Cloud Computing is one of the 6 distinguishing markers of SGO. Indicating a growing demand for SGO, the number of customers Anantara served increased from 38 in FY 08 to 87 in FY 09.

Srini NewCo is developing an Enterprise-class Application Hosting platform that would run on top of existing Cloud Service Providers such as Amazon EC2. The company was founded by Srini Gurrapu, a serial entrepreneur with experience from multiple successful start-ups including BlueCoat, Neoteris/Juniper, FaceTime Communications, Mokafive and RingCube. Anantara will help Srini NewCo in building this platform which will help customers in hosting their applications on the Cloud.
