Pennsylvania’s ‘Money Match’ program, launched in 2024, is returning over $22 million to nearly 100,000 residents through automatic cheques for unclaimed property up to $500. Treasurer Stacy Garrity clarified that these are legitimate payments from dormant bank accounts, uncashed checks, and rebates. However, manual claims are still required for larger amounts or complex cases.
