Rishabh Pant is a great wicketkeeper-batsman with a fearless attitude born on October 4, 1997, in Haridwar, India. He made his first international appearance in a T20I against England in 2017, followed by a Test debut against the same team in 2018. His extensive repertoire of effects enabled him to quickly become a game-changer in Test cricket with historical shots like his century at The Oval in 2018 and his 89* at Brisbane in 2021 when he took India home with historic triumph in Australia. Pant is an essential member of the red-ball dream team that India has built over 2,900 Test runs at an average of 42.11. However, he has not enjoyed the same consistency through his ODI and T20I careers, which include flashes of brilliance but repeat loss there sums up his performance in establishing himself as a mainstay in white-ball formats.
Pant made his IPL debut in 2016 for Delhi Capitals and captained the side in 2021. He is known for his explosive batting, from which he has scored over 3200 runs in 111 matches, including 1 hundred and 18 fifties, at an average strike rate of nearly 149. His best season remains 2018, when he amassed 684 runs while striking at 173.6.
