The government plans to improve the National Pension System (NPS) by introducing new options for subscribers, such as wealth maximisation, assured benefits with inflation protection, and innovative mechanisms for predictable retirement income. The PFRDA has proposed three schemes to offer customised retirement income, along with allowing fund managers to offer schemes with 100% equity exposure.
