IMD has declared an early withdrawal of southwest monsoon from parts of west Rajasthan, with surplus rainfall in the north-west, central, and southern regions. More areas in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Gujarat are expected to see withdrawal soon. The monsoon arrived early this year and has brought above-normal rainfall, raising hopes for a good agricultural output.
