Infosys, the IT giant, has set November 14 as the record date for its Rs 18,000 crore share buyback. The promoters, including Nandan Nilekani and Sudha Murty, will not participate. The buyback will be conducted through the tender offer route at a 19% premium over the current market price. Small investors have a reserved 15% allocation.
