India Inc’s cash reserves have surged to a record Rs 14.19 lakh crore, with top companies holding 83% of it. The boost is due to better financial performance and higher other income. Firms have also used their cash to pay off loans and reduce debt, resulting in a strong September quarter with a 12.7% rise in net sales and expanded operating profit margins.
