India vs New Zealand ODI 2026 squad announcement: Where to watch, venues, date, time – All you need to know

The Indian selectors are expected to announce the squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand today (January 3). The full tour consists of eight matches—three ODIs and five T20Is starting from January 11 to January 31. According to reports, the selection committee will finalise the squad during an online meeting.

The series holds significance as many senior players are set to return for the fifty-over format. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have created a lot of buzz to be a part of the series, as both have retired from the T20 format. If chosen to be a part of the squad, it will increase the possibility for both players to be selected for the 2027 ODI World Cup.

Where to watch India’s ODI squad announcement

As there will not be any press conference, the squad announcement won’t be broadcast anywhere. Notably, BCCI has already named the squad for the T20I series against New Zealand.
