Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari today spoke against the ‘honour’ killing of Pakistani social media celebrity and actor Qandeel Baloch, saying the government “must hold the murderer” accountable.
“Qandeel Baloch was a Pakistani woman and deserved the right to life. No ifs, no buts. Punjab government must hold murderer accountable,” he tweeted.

Baloch (26) was ‘apparently’ murdered by her brother, Wasim Azeem, who disappeared after the incident, while was sleeping at the family’s home.
Police said Baloch was suffocated to death by strangulation.
The model’s death sparked a social media outrage and with people posting from across the world in support of the deceased.
