The whole world has got its eyes on the American presidential elections 2016 which has two main protagonists. One, a former first lady, secretary of state Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton and the second a self made businessman and developer of real estate Donald J Trump who did not shot to fame overnight but has been an attraction of the general media of America for a very very long time.

In his 1980 interview to Rona Barrett when asked if Trump would ever run for presidential election he replied right there that he does not think so. But he would definitely love to see someone more worthy and capable of being able to do the job of the president of the United States.

Imagine this, at 34 Trump was a daunting young businessman who has already taken over his father’s real estate business and running it very successfully. He was already famous so much so that he could have run for any public office he wished for.

He said to Barrett that his views are unpopular, they may be right but unpopular.

In 1987, in a show with famous Oprah Winfrey, when she asked Donald as to would he ever run for the presidential post and if not why?

To which Mr. Trump said that he probably will not run for the white house but he would love to see someone who is more capable as he is tired of seeing whats happening in the country and that it is getting ripped off.

In1988 at the Republican convention Donald Trump said that rich businessmen don’t like him because he is always competing them and that the best people who get along with him are the working class such as those who drive the taxis and alike.

Trump affirmed in1999 in an interaction with press that he knows many of the foreign leaders across the world probably better than many candidates who run for president on democrat and republican tickets.

In order to honour the returning soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan he opened up his Mar-a-Lago club at Palm beach Florida twice a week and gets pained when he sees the soldiers coming there with their wives or girlfriends. This he said to CNN in an interaction.

None other than Steve Forbes (editor in chief of Forbes magazine), asked him in 2011 whether Obama is anti business to which Trump said that, he (Obama) may not be necessarily anti business but he simply don’t know what to do.

Of course he has made some politically incorrect statements on women, Mexico, immigrants and gun free zones but that can be set aside as political attention seeking.

Now, the citizens of America have choices to make. Whether they will choose Mrs. Clinton who is already having a case of email usage which is under investigation with the FBI or a businessman who never held any political offices and definitely doesn’t have anything to loose at the age of 70.

What is good for Americans, whether Americans want to make America great again?

Well, we have to wait till November.
