While Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th US President made headlines, it was a brief exchange between Trump’s youngest son, Barron and former President Joe Biden that captivated social media.

Standing at a towering 6.7 feet, 18-year-old Barron Trump attended the ceremony alongside his mother, Melania and his older siblings. However, his height wasn’t the only thing causing a stir. During a handshake with Biden, Barron leaned in to respond to the former president’s pleasantries and whatever he said left Biden visibly puzzled.

Wild theories erupted online, with many claiming Barron muttered a sharp “You’re done” to the 82-year-old Biden. But forensic lip reader Jeremy Freeman offered a different take. Speaking to LADbible, Freeman suggested Biden greeted Barron with, “It’s good to see you, man”, to which the teenager reportedly responded with a cryptic “Exactly”.

The unusual reply might explain Biden’s perplexed expression. Social media users quickly weighed in, with one commenter joking, “Responding ‘exactly’ to a greeting is the ultimate alpha move,” while another quipped, “Barron is already a legend.”

Meanwhile, the inauguration itself continued with characteristic Trump flair. The president pledged to rename the Gulf of Mexico and send the U.S. to Mars, accompanied by his newly minted “First Buddy” Elon Musk.
