US President Donald Trump has shared an AI-generated TikTok video on Truth Social, that too, without any caption or viewer discretion. The video shows FBI agents making an arrest in the Oval Office. Guess who they are arresting? Well, former president Barack Obama. Since the fake arrest video was shared by the President, many have called the move “deeply irresponsible”.
FBI ‘arrests’ Obama
The video opens to show Barack Obama addressing voters in what appears to be a campaign speech supporting former US President Joe Biden. “No body, especially the president, is above the law”.
It then shows several politicians, including Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Raphael Warnock, Jerrold Nadler, Steve Cohen, Veronica Escobar, Sylvia Garcia, Pramila Jayapal, Cory Booker, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, Jerry Nadler, and AG Letitia James – all repeating the same line: “No one is above the law.”
As the video goes on, a clown version of the Pepe the Frog meme appears, pressing a large red nose that makes a honking sound. This moment suggests that Trump is mocking the repeated statements made by the politicians, including two former U.S. Presidents.
The video then transitions to show both Trump and Obama sitting side by side in the Oval Office. Moments later, FBI agents walk towards Obama, force him to his knees, before they handcuff him and take him away. All this while, Trump watches him with a wide, toothy grin.
Towards the end of the video, Obama is sitting inside a prison cell in an orange jail uniform. The video ends with the camera slowly zooming in on Obama’s face as he stands behind bars.
‘High-level election fraud’
The video comes after Trump alleged that Obama was involved in a “high-level” election fraud, which the US Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, backed. She suggested that the Obama administration should be tried for false claims of Trump-Russia collusion.
“Americans will finally learn the truth about how in 2016, intelligence was politicised and weaponised by the most powerful people in the Obama administration to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Donald Trump, subverting the will of the American people and undermining our democratic republic,” she wrote on X.
The Office of the DNI (ODNI) has released a 114-page document which has heavily redacted emails. It “states” that the Obama administration allegedly “fabricated and manipulated intelligence” to support the assessment that Russia favoured Trump in the 2016 election. In that election year, Trump lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton but secured victory through the Electoral College, becoming the 45th President of the United States.

One social media user created an AI picture of Trump holding mugshots of Obama with the words: “It’s time.” She captioned the picture as “Let’s go.”
Another joined, “Obama is headed to prison or worse! I have no doubt.”
One commented, “Most epic freaking troll post I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to see the real thing!”
Many even said that he has the best sense of humour.
Some even shed light on how he is doing everything to turn the public’s attention away from Epstein Files. “Anything to distract from the Epstein Files.”
