Netizens could not help but notice Elon’s black-eye and outré reactions on camera, given his reported “intense” drug usage problem during his time advising Trump.

As per media reports, Musk has reportedly been under the influence of powerful anesthetic ketamine over the years. As per a New York Times report, he was also carrying a box of over 20 pills with recreation and prescription drugs during his campaign for Donald Trump. However, when this report was brought up during the press-conference, the reporter was quickly bashed with a stronger comment. Videos of Musk unable to maintain eye contact, stand still quickly made the round on social media from the press-conference on May 30.

It has users questioning whether he was hallucinating and still under the influence of drugs during the press meeting. However, others brought up a reported neck surgery he had done earlier. Giving a medical explanation to his behaviour, a user speculated the possibility of Musk having Asperger’s Syndrome which usually cause such ticks and repeated muscular tensions.
