In a major reveal that once seemed to entirely out of reach, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have pushed out a batch of previously unseen photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein‘s controversial island. The American financier owned two islands in the US Virgin Islands, namely Little St James and Great Saint James. It remains unclear which of the two islands has been pictured in over 100 photos and videos released on Wednesday (US time).

Offering what they called a “disturbing” or “harrowing” look behind the late billionaire’s closed doors, Democrats said they won’t stop fighting until this “cover-up” is ended and “justice for the survivors” is served.

Congressman Robert Garcia, the leader of Oversight Democrats, issued a follow-up statement on X, saying, “We will continue to release documents and files as we receive them. The survivors deserve justice and the truth.” Reiterating his previous demands, he asserted, “We need the Department of Justice to release all the files, NOW.”

Inside Epstein Island – What do the new photos, videos show

The batch of newly released visuals was uploaded on a publicly accessible Dropbox link online. Containing over hundreds of pictures, the files offered a glimpse of both the exterior and the interior of the infamous establishment in the United States Virgin Islands. While initial images attached to the Dropbox appear to be normal, scrolling further down sheds light on a few questionable clicks.

A series of particular images caught different angles of a framed picture featuring the convicted sex offender, his longtime associate and his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell meeting Pope John Paul II.

As per the metadata, the photo were taken in 2020. Given that the images were snapped after the American financier’s death, everything in the house seems to have been packed away. As a result, artworks removed from the wall appear to have been piled together on the floor and otherwise. Certain pieces of furniture also seem to have been turned upside down in other images.

Another picture grants a look at a bathroom. Several bottles of shampoo, shower gel and condition are pictured to have been neatly lined up on a shelf. Quite a few other clicks have captured looks of sculptures and statue busts.

However, the most peculiar snaps of all, which were inevitably highlighted in the Democrats’ X post as well. Of these four pictures, one shows a questionable room with a dentist chair in place. According to CBS News’ source, the chair was put in for one of Epstein’s girlfriends at the time. The supposed European woman was studying to be a dentist.

The same room suspiciously catches a number of male figure face masks hanging on the walls.

The second picture therein shows a bathroom with stacks of quite a few white pillows and boxes filled with clothes and white towels on the side.

A third image pictures a Panasonic landline, marked with names on speed-dial buttons. These are as follows: NY Office, Darren Off, Darren Cell, Rich Office, Mike Cell, (redacted) Cell, Patrick Cell, (redacted) Cell, (redacted) Office, Larry Cell, Kitchen, JEE 4, JEE 3, JEE 2, JEE 1, Line 5, Line 4, Line 3, Line 2 and Line 1.

The fourth image is that of a dim-lit spacious bedroom. Another widely viewed picture shows a blackboard with partially redacted handwriting. Some of the words visible on the board are “Power,” “Deception,” “Truth,” “Intellectual,” “Music” and “Political.”

Two videos offering a brief tour of some rooms inside the private property.

Garcia further said that the Democrats are planning to release Epstein-related records they received from JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank “in the days ahead.” These could, in turn, shed better light onto the sex offender’s bank dealings and business connections.

Other than the Oversight Committee’s moves, US President Donald Trump has signed a law, prompting the Justice Department to release all records it has linked to Jeffrey Epstein. With the law being signed on November 19, a 30-day deadline countdown has already begun.

What happened on Epstein island?

These pictures released by the Democratic Party offer a better look into Epstein’s affluent lifestyle and time spent at the infamous island. A US Congress document released titled “The Horrors of Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Island” was released online about a month before Epstein died of suicide in a prison cell.

As per the government-released piece of writing, the 70-acre private island in the Caribbean and the nearby St Thomas is believed to have been the very sites where the financier brought underage girls even a decade after he was forced to register as a convicted sex offender.

An employee also told CBS News in 2020 that a boat with the letters LSJ (Little St James) used to bring staff members and supplies to the island. US Virgin Islands Attorney General Denise George further shared with the outlet at the time that the island was the hotspot for his criminal activity.

In a lawsuit, quoted by the US site, George added that Epstein used a private jet to fly into the island. The said aircraft “helps with the concealment,” the then-attorney general said, adding that he would then use two helicopters from his company Hyperion Air “to transport young women and underage girls between St. Thomas and Little St. James.”
