US President Donald Trump is set to make an “announcement” from the Oval Office on Tuesday, September 2, at 2 pm ET, according to US reports.
A screenshot of a White House news release circulating on social media further shed light on the issue, revealing the 79-year-old’s schedule for the day. The 2 PM slot has been reserved for an unspecified announcement, which will follow a week-long public silence from the Republican politician’s side.
Trump to make an announcement amid alarming health rumours
The latest revelation comes as the MAGA leader continues to be surrounded by rumoured health concerns, with social media even trending phrases like “Trump is dead” and “Where is Trump” over the past few days. Some have already started wondering if the president may be ready to announce his resignation. Official word on the same is still awaited.
Internet-famed independent reporter and attorney Aaron Parnas also shared via an Instagram video just over half-an-hour ago that Trump would be speaking in Oval Office “after days of no public events.”
“This is an unspecified announcement and it comes after one week of real silence from the president outside of Truth Social post,” Parnas said in the clip. “The last time the public heard from him was during the Cabinet meeting last week that lasted for several hours.”
As trending keywords like “Trump is dead” soared on X, the US president eventually quashed those rumours as he was pictured on the golf course over the Labor Day holiday. He was seen leaving from the White House for Trump National Golf Course in Sterling, Virginia, on Monday (US time). The official stance, as backed by the White House, remained that Donald Trump golfed for around five and a half hours.
He was spotted sporting a white baseball cap with a white golf shirt and black windbreaker. However, his sudden emergence from what seemed like week-long radio silence again sparked renewed concerns about his health. Internet users couldn’t ignore his apparent weakened gait, while some even speculated whether he was balding.
The 79-year-old Republican leader’s son, Eric Trump, also did his bit in dismissing the rumours. Just days ago, he re-posted a message, quoting his father: “I’ve never felt better in my life.” He then added to the post himself, saying, “The radical left is so sick and twisted.”

What JD Vance said about Trump’s health
These Trump-related conspiracy theories about his allegedly dwindling health particularly hit their peak after Vice President JD Vance’s comments in an interview with USA Today gained attention.
“Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the President of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people,” he said of possibly stepping up to the role of the country’s president if something were to happen to the 79-year-old politician. “And if, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days.”
This is a breaking story. More Information will be added soon…
