Unknown gunmen opened fire at a township near Johannesburg, South Africa, AFP reported a police statement on Sunday. 10 people are believed to have been killed in the fatal tragedy, while 10 others were reportedly wounded.
The motive for the shooting that took place at Bekkersdal was not known at the time of writing, police told AFP. “Some victims were randomly shot in the streets by unknown gunmen,” read a police statement.
Therefore, the suspects responsible for the incident have yet to be named and identified.
