Pakistan is gearing up for the possibility of an “all-out war” with India amid continued geopolitical tensions. The remarks followed a sharp warning from New Delhi that dubbed Operation Sindoor an “88-hour trailer” for its neighbour. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stressed the need to remain “fully alert” on Wednesday — a week after claiming that Islamabad was prepared for a two-pronged clash with Afghanistan and India.

“We are neither ignoring India nor trusting it under any circumstances. Based on my analysis, I cannot rule out an all-out war or any hostile strategy from India, including border incursions or attacks. We must stay fully alert,” he said.

Pakistani officials had earlier accused New Delhi of “backing” an Afghanistan-led suicide bombing attack in Islamabad and claimed they were “ready for war” with both nations. India has pushed back sharply against claims that it was involved in the Islamabad terror attack — calling it a “predictable tactic” from Pakistan to deflect public attention from domestic issues.

‘Operation Sindoor just 88-hour trailer’: COAS Dwivedi

India issued a fresh warning for Pakistan on Monday — with the Chief of the Army Staff insisting that the country was prepared for all eventualities.

“Operation Sindoor was just a trailer which ended in 88 hours. We are prepared for any circumstances in future. If Pakistan gives a chance, we will teach it how to behave responsibly with a neighbouring nation,” General Dwivedi had warned.

Pakistan claiming ‘credit’ for Red Fort bombing?

A video of the newly ousted Prime Minister of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir claiming responsibility or the Red Fort blast also went viral on Wednesday. Chaudhary Anwarul Haq threatened to “hit India” — making tangential references to the Red Fort explosion and Pahalgam terror attack.

“I said earlier, if you (India) keep bleeding Balochistan, we will hit you from the Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir. By the grace of Allah, we have done it… our brave men have done it,” Haq can be heard saying in the now-viral video.

Multiple news reports indicated that the undated clip was from an address that Haq delivered before the PoK Assembly after his ouster on Monday. The former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader was removed as the ‘Prime Minister of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir’ after losing a no-confidence vote on November 17.
