AFTER HEAVY LOSS IN ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS CONGRESS FALLS SILENT

No workers, members or leaders can be seen outside Congress headquarters at 24, Akbar Road in the national capital today. The clamour has stopped and loud voices have fallen silent. The grand old party has faced a crushing defeat at the hands of BJP in Assam and its alliance with the left in West Bengal and with DMK in Tamil Nadu has also failed. In Kerala, the left front has taken the cake away and the party has been left with just puducherry.
