Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal has given a unique wedding gift to the son of industrialist Gautam Adani, Jeet Adani, and his newlywed wife Diva Jaimin Shah. The act comes after the couple got married on February 7.

The founder of the matchmaking website also a judge in Shark Tank India revealed in his post on X (formerly Twitter) that he had removed the profile of Jeet Adani from the website of Shaadi.com. The profile had been created as a prank by Jeet’s friends years ago when they were in middle school.

“As promised, here’s a small wedding gift from me to you and Diva, Jeet Adani. We’ve had your profile deleted from Shaadi.com now that you’ve confirmed your participation in Shark Tank India,” Mittal wrote, sharing a screenshot that showed no results when searching for Jeet Adani’s name.

The Adani Group heir had initially discussed the profile on the Shark Tank India spinoff, Beyond The Tank. Jeet revealed that his friends had set up the profile under his name back in middle school, in the 7th or 8th grade, as part of a prank. “You know how boys are… messing around and pranking each other. One of my friends created a profile on your website under the name ‘Jeet Adani.’ I have no idea whose email or phone number was used, but the profile has been there,” Jeet explained.

He went on to request that Mittal remove the profile, joking, “It’s still there, please take it down. I’m getting married soon, and there’s a Shaadi.com profile under my name.”

Although Jeet had attempted to have the profile removed several times in the past, it remained active.

Jeet Adani and Diva Jaimin Shah exchanged vows on February 7, in a private ceremony. The couple shared the moments of their wedding with the fans the following day, and Jeet captioned the post, “Mr. and Mrs. Adani – To infinity and beyond!”
