A Bengaluru-based Chartered Accountant (CA), who stopped studying for a year after clearing his CBSE Class 10, shared his marksheet on LinkedIn, adding that it took him three years to clear his Class 12. Parth Verma also shared that his path to becoming a CA was equally challenging, as he failed the CA Final multiple times before finally clearing it on his fifth attempt. He shared that although he used to “cry” after every failed attempt and often “doubted” himself, he now looks back and finds it all “silly”. Verma shared his story to motivate others who may be going through similar struggles, hoping to reassure them that setbacks don’t define success.

“I stopped studying after 10th for a year,” he started his long, yet powerful post on LinkedIn.

He added, “Took me 3 years to finish 12th. Failed CA Inter. Cleared CA Final in my 5th attempt. I remember crying after every failure. I felt like I was falling behind. Wondering if I’ll ever make it. Today, it seems so silly.”

Verma then asked, “How much do these scores matter today?” before answering, “Nothing.”

“No one cares how many years I took. Not once has someone asked, ‘Why did you fail?’ Because honestly, it doesn’t matter,” Vermin further wrote, before sharing what, in his opinion, truly matters.

He encouraged students to never give up, even when the journey gets tough. “What matters is I kept going. Even when it was hard. Even when I doubted myself. And that’s the part I’m proud of. Not the score. Not the rank. The effort. The journey.”

“No risk. No story,” he stressed.

According to his CBSE Class 10 marksheet, he scored the lowest marks in Sanskrit and the highest in Social Science. Verma scored 53 in Sanskrit, 54 in English, 64 in Science and Tech, 67 in Mathematics and 71 in Social Science.

Earlier, Virat Kohli’s CBSE Class 10 marksheet went viral on social media. He scored the highest marks in English and the lowest in Mathematics. He scored 83 marks in English, 81 in Social Science, 75 in Hindi, 74 in Introductory IT, 55 in Science and Tech, and 51 in Mathematics. He scored only 16 in the theory of Introductory IT but was significantly helped by his practical marks. Overall, he achieved a total percentage of 69.83%.
