Wimbledon 2025 Day 4 Highlights: Day 4 of Wimbledon 2025 unfolded with commanding performances from the top seeds, as Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner. They breezed into the third round with ease after a 6-0 and 6-3 victory. With the early rounds nearing completion, the action on the grass courts continued to intensify and keeping fans on edge.

Novak Djokovic creates history

Seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic showed no signs of slowing down in his quest for an eighth title. Facing Britain’s wild-card Daniel Evans, Djokovic delivered a polished performance, winning the first set with 6-3. Finishing off in style with a 6-2 second set and victory at 6-0 in the third. The World No. 2 went past Federer’s milestone, Djokovic quipped, “Nineteen times, that’s a great stat. That is probably almost as much as Sinner and Alcaraz have years in their lives.”

India at Wimbledon 2025

India’s Rohan Bopanna and Sander Gille of Belgium crashed out of the Wimbledon 2025 men’s doubles. Pushing Bopanna out of the league, their third-seeded German opponents took just above an hour to reach to victory. Yuki Bhambri and Robert Galloway, meanwhile, made their way through to the round 2 of the men’s doubles.

Jannik Sinner shows title credentials

Italian star Jannik Sinner, seeded No. 1 at this year’s Championships, continued his impressive run with a clinical 6-1, 6-1, 6-3 victory over Australia’s Aleksander Vukic . Wimbledon is the only major tournament where Sinner is yet to reach the final. He came close with 22-year old Spaniard top seed in the French Open 2025 who beat him after a one set victory.

The 23-year-old’s controlled rallies with powerful forehands and sharp returns, neutralised Vukic’s aggression. Sinner, who reached the semifinals in 2023, looks poised to go deeper in the draw this time.

Women’s Singles results

In the women’s draw, Iga Swiatek stormed past USA’s Caty McNally coming from a set behind to win 5-7, 6-2, 6-1. Her comeback reaffirmed her intent to conquer the Wimbledon crown. Meanwhile, defending champion Barbora Krejcikova survived another three setter as she beat USA’s Caroline Dolehide 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.

With the third round approaching, top seeds like Djokovic and Sinner remain in commanding form. Carlos Alcaraz is set to take on Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff today.
