West Indies won the toss and decided to bat on the first day of the second test match at Kingston. Before the match got delayed due to rain the West Indies was 93 for 4 wickets.

The match which started after rain saw the dismissal of Samuels who was caught by Rahul on a delivery by Ravichandran Ashwin at an individual score of 37 and at an overall score of 115 for the host.

Batsman Dowrich was also bowled by Ashwin at an overall score of 127. So far Jermaine Blackwood have become highest scorer for the West Indies with a score of 62.

At 131 Roston Chase was caught behind by Dhawan at a delivery by Mohammed Shami at a score of 10 runs.

The Indian bowlers seems to have done extremely well with most dismissals by Ravichandran Ashwin taking five wickets while Ishant Sharma and Mohammed Shami settled for two each.
