Punjab Kings Retained Players Full List, IPL 2025: As has often been the case, the Punjab Kings are gearing up for the IPL 2025 auction with a substantial budget to reshape their trophy-less franchise from the ground up. On the day of the IPL 2024 retention deadline, the team opted to retain only Prabhsimran Singh and Shashank Singh, with the surprising decision to part ways with Arshdeep Singh.

After the retention deadline, head coach Ricky Ponting shared his thoughts and said that they have high hopes for Prabhsimran, as he’s a player they believe in.He said that Shashank’s skills have become increasingly sought after, and after his impressive performances, they couldn’t overlook him. He added that they aim to bring back some of our other players at the auction.
