Officially, Delhi Capitals will clash with Chennai Super Kings on March 31 and Kolkata Knight Riders on April 3 in Visakhapatnam.
The first schedule is out! The 17th season of the IPL kicks off with Chennai Super Kings against Royal Challengers Bangalore at MA Chidambaram Stadium, aka Chepauk. According to reports, Delhi Capitals won't be hosting their initial two IPL 2024 matches at home ground Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium due to delays in preparations. Consequently, the fixtures will relocate to Pune and Cuttack respectively.
IPL chairman Arun Dhumal has told news agency PTI that the IPL 2024 season is slated to commence on March 22nd. He said, "We are looking at a March 22 start for the tournament. We are working closely with the government agencies and we will first release the initial schedule. The entire tournament will be held in India."
