The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced the resumption of the TATA IPL 2025 season, following a thorough consultation with government and security agencies. After ensuring the safety of players, officials, and fans, the Board has decided to proceed with the remainder of the season, which will be held across six venues.
A total of 17 matches will be played from May 17, 2025, culminating in the grand finale on June 3, 2025. The revised schedule includes two exciting double-header Sundays. Fans can look forward to the high-stakes playoffs, which will be held as follows:
- Qualifier 1: May 29, 2025
- Eliminator: May 30, 2025
- Qualifier 2: June 1, 2025
- Final: June 3, 2025
Details regarding the venues for the playoff matches will be released at a later date.
