The French forward opened the scoring in the 16th minute, finishing a swift attacking move to give Diego Simeone’s side an early advantage in the Atletico Baleares vs Atletico Madrid encounter. Atletico doubled their lead just four minutes later when Giacomo Raspadori found the net in the 20th minute, putting the visitors firmly in control.
However, Atletico Baleares responded well and pulled one back through Gerardo Bonet in the 28th minute, capitalising on a rare opening to keep the contest alive.
