Vodafone India on Wednesday said it will launch its 4G services in Kolkata by end of this calendar year.

The company, India’s second-biggest telecommunications company, will first launch the services in key business corridors in the first pgase, followed by other areas in a phased manner, the company said in a statement. Vodafone India said it has started testing 4G networks currently.

With 25% of data revenues, Kolkata is one of the top data markets for the telecom major in India and is growing at more than 50% year-on-year.
