Italy’s world number one Jannik Sinner defeated defending champion Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to win the Wimbledon men’s singles title on Sunday. With this victory, Sinner clinched his maiden Wimbledon crown and secured his fourth Grand Slam title overall.
Earlier in the match, Sinner took the second set 6-4 to level the final at one set all, after Alcaraz claimed the opener 6-4. The two young stars delivered another electrifying contest, just five weeks after their memorable clash in the French Open final. (Photo: AP) -
